Steve Cobb

With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Cobb brings expertise in developing strategic roadmaps and designing and executing corporate initiatives to drive performance improvement. His notable energy clients include Fortune 500 exploration and production, midstream, downstream and oilfield services companies.
Additionally, Mr. Cobb’s notable industrial, chemicals and pharmaceuticals clients include a Fortune 500 construction equipment manufacturer, an aerospace and industrial equipment manufacturer, a food industry logistics company, a health and beauty online retailer, a high-end office furniture designer and manufacturer, Fortune 100 petrochemical manufacturer and several Fortune 100 pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cobb served as Managing Director with The Carnrite Group, leading performance improvement initiatives in areas including CapEx, operating cost and G&A reductions, supply chain optimization, process redesign, organizational design and strategic growth. While at The Carnrite Group, Mr. Cobb was seconded to become Chief Executive Officer of a mid-sized manufacturer and distributor of kitchen and bath solid surface products and led the turnaround, sale and integration of the business.
Mr. Cobb began his consulting career with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Marx Consulting, after having worked in various engineering and management roles at Texas Instruments, including Program Manager in the Defense Systems Electronics Group, where he oversaw their Strategic Defense Initiative projects.
Mr. Cobb earned a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
