Bringing more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Moore has spent five years as Principal, Operator, and Lender in distressed investments, and over 15 years as an advisor in restructuring and transformation situations. He has served private and public companies in industries such as oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing and distribution, retail, industrial construction, healthcare, and professional services.

Mr. Moore’s notable financial advisory and court-appointed engagements in Canada and the US include Joriki, Ted Baker (North America), DCL Canada, Inscape Corporation, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, The Source by Circuit City, Diamond Offshore Drilling, and Imerys Talc America.

Mr. Moore has also advised on many refinancing and transaction mandates, informal workouts, and interim management assignments. He has led strategic options assessments, performance improvement, and exit planning analyses for private equity clients. As part of the Chief Transformation Office, he developed the global organizational redesign and assessment of a non-core business unit for a multinational engineering and construction firm. As Executive Chair of a Canadian provincial medical laboratory services provider, Mr. Moore led financial and operational stabilization initiatives, reporting to its investors and board.

Prior to rejoining A&M, Mr. Moore led the Canadian arm of a London-based distressed investment firm. As Principal and board member, he steered investments through the full deal cycle: acquisition, financing, and exit transactions. He led management through financial and operational enhancement processes, acting as interim Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was in deals advisory with a Big Four firm.

Mr. Moore earned a bachelor’s degree (first-class honors) in international management from the University of Bath. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), and Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT). A Canadian and British national, Mr. Moore is fluent in French.
