Serene Ker
With more than 14 years of experience in business incentives and corporate taxation, Ms. Ker has advised on numerous projects involving corporate tax restructuring and incentives planning for multinational corporations across a broad range of industries, including technology, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and medical sciences, consumer and lifestyle, and commodity trading. Previously, she spent more than 11 years with EY Singapore’s International Tax and Transaction Services, Business Incentives Advisory team.
Before joining A&M, Ms. Ker spent over three years with the Singapore Economic Development Board’s Business Environment (Policy) Division. In this role, she was actively involved in the design of incentive schemes and the development of incentive policies in a post-BEPS environment, with a focus on attracting and securing investments in Singapore.
Ms. Ker earned a double bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude with dean’s list distinctions) in accountancy and business management from Singapore Management University. She is also an Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP).
