Scott Rubin is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring in London. He advises primarily UK-based corporates undergoing present or forecast financial stress or distress, helping them generate options and implement solutions to achieve optimal outcomes.

With 15 years of experience, Mr. Rubin has worked on some of the most high-profile restructurings over the last ten years, particularly in the consumer and energy spaces, rescuing thousands of jobs. Mr. Rubin has worked across a wide range of sectors, including leisure and hospitality, retail, film and media, and energy and life sciences.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rubin was a Director with KPMG, where he led restructuring and deal advisory projects for a variety of corporates, lenders and funders.

Mr. Rubin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and German from the University of Nottingham. He is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and is a qualified insolvency practitioner.
