Renata Foz
Ms. Foz has played an active role in assisting international clients launching operations in Brazil, either through organic entry and growth or through M&A transactions. She has extensive experience in advising national and multinational companies in different tax areas, including outbound and inbound operations, supply chain models, corporate restructuring, M&A, tax planning, and tax reviews.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Foz worked at KPMG for more than 15 years, where she was a tax partner with the International Tax department. While there, she was responsible for providing tax advisory services to domestic and international clients, providing advice on inbound/outbound investments, cross-border transactions and international remittances, Brazilian exchange control regulations, import and export transactions, business restructuring, tax planning, and tax advice associated with clients’ recurring business activities.
Ms. Foz earned a bachelor's degree in law from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) in São Paulo and a postgraduate degree in economic and corporate law from Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo. She is also a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, the Order of Attorneys of Brazil (OAB).
