Rasmus Michler
Mr. Michler brings more than 11 years of consulting experience from large-scale business transformations and commercial improvement projects across sectors including consumer, retail, infrastructure, professional services, and private equity. In addition, Mr. Michler brings hands-on experience from leading the commercial excellence function at a large European grocery retailer.
Mr. Michler specializes in developing growth strategies and full-potential plans, delivering large-scale transformations, and crafting commercial improvement initiatives to drive topline growth and margin expansion.
Mr. Michler’s consulting experience spans major transformations and growth programs across industries. His work includes supporting a leading Australian transportation provider in critical commercial negotiations, designing a full-potential transformation plan for a professional services company in Australia, and leading a two-year commercial transformation for a European food retailer that expanded margins through vendor negotiations, range, and pricing optimization, while also driving topline growth through category strategies and tactical initiatives. He has also developed a full-potential plan for a US transportation conglomerate, combining revenue growth initiatives with cost-reduction measures and synergy capture from M&A, and advised a global fashion and luxury player on growth strategies to boost revenue in priority markets by reshaping promotions and sales mechanisms.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Michler spent more than a decade with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), leading client engagements across Europe and North America. At BCG, Mr. Michler was a core part of BCG’s Consumer and Retail and Private Equity practices.
Mr. Michler earned a master’s degree in applied economics and finance from Copenhagen Business School. As part of his studies, Mr. Michler spent semesters at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Columbia University.
