With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Sengupta provides financial analysis and damage quantification to support settlement negotiation and applies advanced valuation methodologies to complex disputes. He has provided expert testimony in high-profile international arbitration forums such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), simplifying complex financial concepts for dispute resolution.

Mr. Sengupta has advised clients across India, Europe, the Middle East, and the US. He has led valuation assessments of private capital investments—spanning venture capital, private equity, and credit portfolios across multiple regions—in support of shareholder disputes and board defence. Mr. Sengupta's expertise ensures independent, defensible valuations in contentious and pre‑contentious matters. He has worked with clients across various industries, including healthcare, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewable energy, technology, and utilities.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sengupta spent many years with Grant Thornton Bharat, Kroll, and EY, where he served as the Leader of Dispute Valuations, Infrastructure Valuations, Alternative Asset Advisory, and Valuations for Financial Reporting. In these roles he led valuation services for commercial disputes, combining expert testimony with strategic guidance to address multifaceted valuation concerns across a variety of markets. Before that, Mr. Sengupta served as Head of Valuations and Financial Performance for the Oman Investment Authority, where he oversaw global portfolio valuations and ensured compliance and accuracy.

Mr. Sengupta earned a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in multiple languages, including Bengali, Hindi, and English, and is conversant in German and Italian.
