Pierre Grellier is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Services Industry in Paris. He brings 19 years of both consulting and industrial experience in large business transformations, including activities’ portfolio reviews, post-merger integration, corporate performance improvement and activities’ turnaround.

Mr. Grellier also has extensive experience in carving out businesses and building alliances, partnerships, and joint ventures. He has worked extensively in financial services, focusing on asset and wealth management, insurance, retail and investment banking and fintech.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Grellier was Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer of Ofi Invest, Aéma Group’s €205 billion asset manager, whose creation he piloted, gathering the asset management activities inherited from Macif and Aviva France. Overall, Mr. Grellier spent seven years with Aéma Group, a leading French insurance and asset management company, where he primarily served as Head of Strategy, Alliances and Innovation and helped structure the strategic union between Macif and Aesio Mutuelle that created Aéma Group and led the €3.2 billion acquisition of Aviva France by Macif and Aéma Group. He also supervised Macif’s venture fund and investments in fintech.

Previously, Mr. Grellier worked for BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking as a Strategy Officer, and spent eight years with Kearney, where he was involved in strategic and operational assignments for corporates and private equity sponsors. He focused on market entry strategy, strategic due diligence, post-acquisition restructuring and turnaround, operational improvement and purchasing.

Mr. Grellier earned a master’s degree from ESSEC business school. A French national, he is fluent in French and English.
