Patrick Lopes

Most notably, over the past four years at A&M, Mr. Lopes has led the Sportainment practice supporting several clients, such as football clubs, sports leagues/federations, multi-club ownerships, igaming, e-sports, and entertainment (amusement parks, music industry, live events, media companies), delivering strong results enhancing P&Ls and capital structure.
Previously at A&M, Mr. Lopes performed restructuring and performance improvement projects. He led and joined teams as interim manager (mainly as CRO and CFO) in several restructuring processes. He was responsible for execution of operations improvement initiatives in nine countries across South America for an industrial gas company. He also spent a year as interim CFO on the restructuring process of the main printing industry in Brazil, leading two M&A processes and a post-merger integration.
Before joining A&M, Mr. Lopes served as Equity Research Analyst and Partner at a Brazilian hedge fund. He was in charge of presenting and defending investments cases for other partners and investments committees. Previously, Mr. Lopes worked in Brazil on M&As at a middle-market investment banking boutique with headquarters in Miami, U.S., where his contributions included preparation of pitching materials and sales and purchase agreements passing through valuation and due diligence coordination.
Mr. Lopes earned a bachelor’s degree in economic science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and an extension in finance from COPPEAD Institute of Administration, UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro. Mr. Lopes is fluent in English and Portuguese with working proficiency in Spanish. He has Brazilian and Portuguese citizenship.
