Patrick Klein

Mr. Klein’s focus includes developing a strong understanding of key drivers of the target company’s financial performance and position to identify and assess key deal issues and risks; quantification of items directly impacting transaction valuation (e.g., understanding normalized EBITDA, adequacy of working capital levels, debt and debt-like items); purchase agreement reviews and support; and carve-out transaction implications.
With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Klein is a seasoned transaction advisor and has led multiple projects for corporate and private equity clients across various industries, including consumer products, industrials, energy and technology, and media and telecommunications. He has worked with clients in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Klein was with Ernst & Young’s Strategy and Transactions Group in New York and the Netherlands. Previously, he spent four years at E.ON in Rotterdam, a multinational energy company, where he was a Business Controller, responsible for financial planning and analysis.
Mr. Klein earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics, finance and accounting from Avans University, a master’s degree in financial law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master’s degree in management from Nyenrode Business University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
