Nancy Bonds is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring & Turnaround in Houston. She has more than seven years of experience advising companies on restructuring transactions, cost-reduction initiatives, and performance improvement across various industries, including oil exploration and production, oilfield services, and power generation. 

Ms. Bonds’ primary areas of expertise include working capital improvement initiatives, capital planning, cost-reduction strategy, liquidity management, cash forecasting, Chapter 11 contingency planning, evaluation of strategic alternatives, and borrowing base management and forecasting.

Ms. Bonds has notably served as a financial advisor to several complex restructuring transactions, including: Talen Energy Supply, owner of an approximate 12.5GW power generation portfolio in the US; Weatherford International, a global integrated oilfield services provider; Global Clean Energy Holdings, a vertically integrated renewable fuels business; Vertex Energy, a specialty Gulf Coast renewable and conventional refiner; Superior Energy Services, a global drilling, completion, and production services company; Cox Operating, an independent Gulf of Mexico exploration and production company; Parker Drilling Company, a global public drilling, rental tool, and well services company; US Well Services, a high-pressure hydraulic fracturing services company; QGOG Constellation, a multinational offshore driller; NorthEast Gas Generation, an operator of natural gas-fired electric generating facilities; and M&G Chemicals, a leading producer of PET resin.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Bonds worked at ExxonMobil in chemicals financial reporting, where she was responsible for North and South American financial reporting, Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) compliance testing, and the global coordination of the annual budget process.

Ms. Bonds earned a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
