Mike Beadle is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Debt Advisory in London. With over 25 years of experience in financial advisory and banking, he has advised corporate clients on raising, refinancing, and restructuring over £100 billion of debt. He focuses on advising corporate clients across EMEA.

Mr. Beadle’s expertise spans corporate loans, bonds, leveraged finance, direct lending, US private placements, environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-linked financings, margin loans, public bonds, leveraged loans, hybrid capital, and cross-currency and interest rate hedging. He has worked with a range of clients across all industries.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Beadle spent seven years with Deutsche Numis as the Head of Debt Advisory, where he advised on over £6 billion of successfully implemented financings for clients such as Micro Focus, Auction Technology Group, XPS Group, Learning Technologies Group, Mortgage Advice Bureau, Tyman, Annington, Diploma plc, Accesso Technology Group, and Knights. He also brings significant experience as a borrower, having managed Terra Firma’s financing across its investments, and also as a lender, having served as a Managing Director with Barclays’ investment banking team, where he focused on complex and large corporate and leveraged finance transactions, including a spell on Barclays’ Group Credit Committee. Previously, Mr. Beadle was an early member of Rothschild & Co’s debt advisory team, advising on acquisition financing, ratings, public–private partnerships, and project finance. He began his career as a Chartered Accountant in Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Tax practice.

Mr. Beadle earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Jesus College, University of Oxford. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an affiliate member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
