Mary Fung
With more than 20 years of experience in tax advisory services, Ms. Fung has extensive expertise in tax attribute analysis and technical quantitative modeling. Her experience includes advising on corporate acquisitions and divestitures, internal restructuring transactions, and bankruptcy-related reorganizations. She is known for her technical rigor and deep understanding of Section 382 and related tax provisions. Ms. Fung works with clients across a range of industries, supporting complex transactions and distressed situations.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Fung spent more than 20 years with KPMG, where she most recently served as a Tax Director. In that role, she was one of the firm’s approved technical reviewers for Section 382 studies and other quantitative analyses within the national M&A tax practice, providing oversight on complex tax attribute calculations and transaction-related matters.
Ms. Fung also served as a Tax Managing Director at RSM, where she specialized in tax attributes analysis and advised clients on a variety of corporate acquisition, divestiture, and internal reorganization transactions.
Ms. Fung earned a BBA in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting in taxation from the University of Washington. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
