Mr. Tiemann brings more than 20 years of experience in providing financial buy-side and sell-side vendor due diligence, vendor assistance, and related transaction advisory services to private equity funds and corporates on domestic and cross-border transactions. He has worked with clients in various industry sectors, including renewables, civil engineering, facilities management, construction, manufacturing, automotive, software, mining, and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT).

Mr. Tiemann’s key areas of experience include local and cross-border due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients, vendor-initiated due diligences, working capital reviews, going concern reviews, transaction support, and vendor assistance work for large multinational corporations and private equity houses.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Tiemann spent four years with Deloitte’s Transaction Services group in Johannesburg, where he served as Associate Director, providing transaction advisory services (buy-side and sell-side) to large corporates and private equity houses, both locally and for inbound transactions. Prior to that, he was with KPMG’s deal advisory teams in Johannesburg, Dallas, and Zurich for over 18 years.

Mr. Tiemann is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) in South Africa. A German and South African national, Mr. Tiemann is fluent in English and German.
