Mr. Gronau specializes in project management for both public and private projects. With a strong sanitation sector background, he is A&M Brazil’s infrastructure and capital sector leader, Recently, he was responsible for the implementation of the PMO, engineering center and improvement of the construction management processes in a water and wastewater state-owned company.

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Gronau has worked in various segments of infrastructure and capital projects, including manufacturing industry, disaster recovery and the water and wastewater sector. He has participated in projects related to modeling for privatization, improving the performance of companies in the sector, and verifying the economic and financial feasibility of service providers for planned investments for public and private companies.

Mr. Gronau has coordinated teams in contract and supplier management, planning, procurement processes and control and monitoring of complex projects. With an integrated vision of the project from its conception, he analyzes entire asset life cycle, including project feasibility, CAPEX review, organizational structuring, definition of KPIs, and disputes. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gronau worked with Deloitte, serving most recently as Manager. 

Mr. Gronau earned a degree in mechanical production engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and a postgraduate degree in business from Fundação Dom Cabral. He is a past president of AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) Brazil Section. Mr. Gronau is certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI Institute, Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) and the PPP Foundation certificate (CP3P-F) from the World Bank.
