Lisa Jaris is a Senior Director in Alvarez & Marsal Commercial Due Diligence in Boston. She brings more than 12 years of experience advising private equity investors and management teams on commercial diligence, growth strategy development, and portfolio value creation.

Ms. Jaris partners with clients across the investment lifecycle, from early thesis development and pre-acquisition diligence through post-close value creation and exit preparation. Her experience includes market and competitive assessments, customer segmentation, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategy. She has deep expertise in consumer insights and voice-of-customer research, translating data into actionable strategies across category expansion, channel strategy, pricing, and portfolio optimization. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Jaris has specialized in the consumer sector, with extensive experience across food and beverage, retail, restaurants, beauty and personal care, health and wellness, consumer health, travel and leisure, and consumer services. 

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Jaris spent seven years at L Catterton, where she was a Principal on the Portfolio Operations team and co-leader of the Consumer Insights team. She partnered closely with deal teams and portfolio company management to drive value creation, leading growth strategy and commercial initiatives and supporting diligence and category identification efforts.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Jaris worked at EY-Parthenon, where she advised private equity and corporate clients on commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and M&A advisory.

Ms. Jaris earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Williams College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
