Krzysztof Maruniak

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maruniak served as a Senior Manager and Expert at McKinsey & Company. He was engaged in over 30 projects focused on megaproject delivery and operations turnaround for global industry players in major metals, mining, and energy, among others.
Before starting his consulting career, Mr. Maruniak served as an Executive in the metals and mining industry. Notably, he led development and operations for a major copper and molybdenum mine in Chile, worth around $7 billion in assets. Mr. Maruniak also co-led the transformation of a global silver, copper, and molybdenum producer. Further, he was engaged in the development and implementation of various energy projects across gas, wind, solar, and nuclear in Europe and North and South America. In particular, Mr. Maruniak was involved in several nuclear energy developments (large nuclear, small modular reactor, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor, and fuel cycle). He negotiated multiple major power purchase agreement contracts in Europe and the Americas, as well as arranging project finance agreements worth $4.5 billion and other multibillion supply and sales contracts.
Mr. Maruniak holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, as well as a postgraduate diploma in exploration and geology from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, a diploma from Imperial College London, and a management certification from INSEAD.
