Kevin Voigtschild is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Healthcare Industry Group in Denver. He brings more than 10 years of healthcare experience, specializing in hospital and non-hospital revenue cycle operations, process optimization, forensic data analysis, and merger integration.

Mr. Voigtschild’s notable engagements include serving as the interim leader of payor strategy and renegotiating payor contracts for an emergency medical transportation company. In six months, the client secured $8.5 million in annual EBITDA improvement and had an additional $10M million of annual EBTIDA improvement in ongoing negotiations. Previously, Mr. Voigtschild oversaw operations for an EHR and outsource revenue cycle management company, where he reduced escalated clients from 41% to 12% and lowered mature DSO from 37 to 28 days.

Mr. Voigtschild also guided a multi-state orthopedics practice through an EMR/PM system conversion, prioritizing revenue-impacting workflows and standing up cross-functional collaboration sessions. Previously, he served as Project Lead for a Medicaid-based home health provider, implementing transactional technologies and process and organizational redesign that yielded a 10% reduction in AR days, a 66% decrease in days to payment and let the company grow their client list by 25% without additional staff.

Previously, Mr. Voigtschild directed the identification and implementation of numerous performance improvement initiatives for a patient responsibility outsourcing company to improve client collections and staff turnover. He also ran the integration for two call center operations, implementing a future state operating model to achieve business transformation, including migrating to a standardized platform and transitioning to a new organizational structure for the combined entity.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Voigtschild worked with Huron Healthcare, redesigning registration and billing/collection workflows, engineering processes for increasing self-pay collections, implementing customized work drivers for staff, and creating denial/write-off process for large health facilities.

Mr. Voigtschild earned a BBA (operations focus) from the University of Colorado.
