Justin Zammit is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring & Turnaround in Dallas. He advises companies and creditors in distressed and special situations.

With more than 15 years of financial services experience, Mr. Zammit has worked across a wide range of industries, with deep expertise in financial restructurings, M&A, financings, and liability management transactions. He specializes in evaluating strategic alternatives, developing business plans, managing treasury and liquidity, and implementing complex restructuring strategies.

Mr. Zammit’s notable engagements include Klöckner Pentaplast, a leading global manufacturer of rigid and flexible packaging; Wheel Pros, a leading designer, marketer, and distributor of aftermarket wheels and automotive accessories; and Hornblower Group, a global leader in travel experiences and maritime transportation. Other engagements include TNT Crane & Rigging, Utex Industries, Techniplas, Emerge Energy, Jack Cooper Enterprises, Connacher Oil and Gas, Preferred Proppants, Cosmetic Essence Innovations, and Berry Corporation (including post-reorganization transactions).

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zammit was the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Ground Stone Capital Management and spent more than seven years with Houlihan Lokey’s Special Situations and Financial Restructuring Group.

Mr. Zammit earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University at Buffalo and master’s degrees in finance and accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas. He served as an infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying to Iraq with the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the 25th Marine Regiment in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.
