With more than nine years of transaction-related experience, Mr. Rutledge specializes in leading buy- and sell-side financial accounting due diligence projects for both private equity firms and strategic buyers. He advises clients in analyzing transaction-related matters, including analysis of EBITDA and cash-flow sustainability, identification of business growth drivers, and evaluation of working capital requirements.

Mr. Rutledge focuses on serving clients in the healthcare services industry, including acute care hospitals, physician practice management (e.g., dental or orthodontics, dermatology, oncology, etc.), nurse staffing, home health, hospice, behavioral health, managed care, and various other spaces within the healthcare services vertical.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rutledge worked in assurance services for EY in Nashville, most recently as a Senior Associate. He worked with clients in the healthcare and automotive industries.

Mr. Rutledge earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in accountancy from Lipscomb University in Nashville. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Tennessee and a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
