Jeremie Benhaim

Mr. Benhaim’s notable assignments in the META region include advising Barclays on the $5+ billion sale of its stake in Absa, ADQ on the acquisition of Odeabank from Bank Audi, ADCB on the sale of Abu Dhabi Commercial Properties to Nine Yards, and Investbank on its $0.7 billion recapitalization and guarantee package. He also advised Helios on the £0.3 billion CAB Payments initial public offering.
Mr. Benhaim’s other notable engagements include advising One Savings Bank on its £1.7 billion merger with Charter Court Financial Services, La Banque Postale on the €0.4 billion acquisition of a 35% stake in La Banque Postale Financement from Société Générale, and Barclays on its successful defense against activist investor Sherborne.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Benhaim spent 10 years with Barclays in the Financial Institutions Group EMEA and Corporate Development departments, in Dubai and London.
Mr. Benhaim earned a master’s degree in finance from University College Dublin Smurfit Graduate Business School and a master’s degree in business and finance from Heriot-Watt University, U.K. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
