Jennifer O'Brien

Ms. O’Brien specializes in client partnerships and account management, leading high-performing teams through complex program delivery, and driving transformation and growth. Her primary areas of concentration are technology strategy and implementation, medtech, and patient/provider engagement. With more than 25 years of consulting and healthcare industry experience, Ms. O’Brien has leveraged technology to solve business challenges and deliver tangible top- and bottom-line impact.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. O’Brien was a Partner in the M&A practice at West Monroe, where she worked with private equity firms across the transaction life cycle. Her focus was on selling and delivering technology due diligence, post-close value creation, and sell-side advisory services. Additional highlights of Ms. O’Brien’s career include her work at Medtronic, where she directed a global team of over 20 people in building and maintaining a medical device management platform, servicing a $1 billion product line. This project was part of Medtronic’s Surgical Innovation New Product Development group.
During her time at HCLTech, Ms. O’Brien led and managed a $30 million portfolio of healthcare and life sciences clients, to deliver digital consulting services aimed at optimizing operational workflows and driving revenue through increased patient and provider engagement. She also successfully executed enterprise technology and transformation initiatives, including the IT strategy and delivery for a global consumer goods company, the integration of a unified System Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) platform post-merger, and the design of an operating model to optimize pharmacy operations.
Ms. O’Brien earned a bachelor’s degree in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University. She has been a speaker/panelist at industry events such as the Women’s Private Equity Summit and has contributed to various industry publications. She is currently on the CEO Advisory Board at Nilsine Partners and is a mentor for the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.
