Jason Manrow is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Global Transaction Advisory Group in Stockholm. He is part of the firm’s Nordic Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory practice. 

Mr. Manrow brings more than nine years of transaction-oriented technical accounting and financial reporting experience with domestic US issuers and foreign private issuers, including operational experience with leading group financial reporting and accounting teams. He has worked with clients across a broad range of industries and maintains a focus on the life sciences and automotive technology sectors.

Mr. Manrow specializes in Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting for complex capital raising and financing, M&A, divestitures and technical accounting for revenue recognition (ASC 606 and IFRS 15), debt and derivatives (ASC 470, 480, 815, IFRS 9, and IAS 32), business combinations and asset acquisitions (ASC 805 and IFRS 3), consolidation (ASC 810 and IFRS 10), intangible assets and research and development (ASC 350, 730, and IAS 38), equity method investments (ASC 323 and IAS 28), and collaborative or joint arrangements (ASC 808 and IFRS 11).

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Manrow served as Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting for the Swedish automotive manufacturer, Polestar. He was responsible for preparing the company’s financial reports in accordance with SEC regulations and IFRS, managing the company’s application of accounting policies, and providing strategic technical accounting advice for special projects. Previously, he served in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice in New York, where he advised clients on transaction-oriented technical accounting and financing reporting matters in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS, including SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings, debt offerings, and other transactions.

Mr. Manrow earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA (focus on professional accountancy) from Ithaca College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
