James Floyd
Mr. Floyd advises clients on developing scalable operating models that balance efficiency, control, and growth. His work focuses on sustainable cost transformation, front-to-back operational improvement, including workforce and sourcing optimization, service delivery model design, and technology enablement through straight-through processing.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Floyd spent 15 years at HSBC, where he led large-scale operations across retail, wealth, insurance, and corporate and investment banking. Notably, he drove enterprise-wide transformation across Asia–Pacific, Latin America, and Europe, and oversaw approximately 13,000 full-time equivalents and $0.5 billion in costs. In Asia, he led operations across 19 markets and entities, following on from prior leadership roles in Mexico, Latin America, and EMEA.
Mr. Floyd earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and economic history from the University of Warwick. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and is fluent in Spanish.
