With more than 25 years of experience with multinational companies, Mr. Kobus’s notable engagements include leading a post-merger integration effort focused on facilities and operations consolidation at a multinational aerospace and defense company. He coordinated functions to address issues in organizational structure, human resources, manufacturing, finance, and IT systems.

Mr. Kobus led multibillion-dollar, multiyear cost transformation initiatives for major aircraft and naval organizations and programs for the U.S. Department of Defense that created billions in savings. He worked across major programs and classes (fighters, cargo planes, drones, aircraft carriers, and submarines) and transformed the way that departments approach affordability in conjunction with the industrial base.

Mr. Kobus also led post-merger initiatives for a global automotive original equipment manufacturer, delivering hundreds of millions in savings across engineering, manufacturing, and service. He addressed complexity management, vehicle benchmarking, product and assembly process standardization, and warranty cost reduction.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kobus was a Director with A.T. Kearney’s Global Automotive, Aerospace/Defense, Transportation and Industrials group, where he led product development, manufacturing projects, and internal capability development. Previously, Mr. Kobus held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, from Product Engineer to Program Manager, at Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Kobus earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
