With over 12 years of experience, Mr. Coles has supported clients through periods of distress, transformation, and significant change. He assists with cost accounting remediation, transactional accounting, post-merger integration, audit support, month-end close acceleration, US GAAP conversions, carve-out reporting, budgeting and forecasting, enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations, accounting standard adoption, public company readiness, and internal control remediation. His expertise includes multinational organizations and multi-currency consolidations.

Mr. Coles’ notable assignments include facilitating Scientific Games Corporation’s $800 million sale of its sports betting business, OpenBet, to Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc., where he led carve-out reporting, multiyear audit support, and finance and accounting separation, including separation of the client’s Oracle environment.

Mr. Coles served as Interim Controller for a global dental implants manufacturer with $350 million in annual revenue, where he transformed the finance and accounting function, remediated cost accounting deficiencies, automated accounting and reporting processes, and accelerated the time to close from over 15 days to four. He also provided interim leadership to a global label manufacturing client’s North American plant finance function, generating revenues of $1.5 billion annually. He managed group controllers, overseeing financial operations and cost accounting across 30 plants, improved KPI reporting, and collaborated with leadership to drive post-merger integration, including accounting policy alignment and process standardization.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Coles was a Senior Manager at CBIZ Private Equity Advisory. He began his career as an auditor in public accounting and later served as Vice President, Manager of Accounting with Simmons Bank.

Mr. Coles earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
