Mr. Soor has broad expertise across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on infrastructure, construction, real estate, hotel and leisure, and retail. With wide-ranging experience, from design to construction of real assets as well as transaction in completed assets, he excels in providing full and clear advice suitable for submission to the revenue authorities. He is an expert at bridging the tangible asset and tax worlds.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Soor spent 24 years with KPMG in the UK, where he was an Equity Partner for 11 years. He led the UK Capital Allowances team for 13 years, building a strong national practice that covered markets such as corporates and financial services, as well as a vibrant regional business. Mr. Soor worked extensively with KPMG’s Technology team to help design, build, and deploy analytics software to help analyze large volumes of data for capital allowances and tax depreciation purposes. The technology’s flexibility led to its current deployment for analyzing tax-sensitive general ledgers.

Mr. Soor earned a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying from London South Bank University. He is a qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Tax Technician of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).
