Gavin Stoner
Mr. Stoner is primarily focused on complex, multistakeholder restructuring assignments, often with an international dimension. He has extensive experience with listed and multinational companies, private and owner-managed businesses, and both large syndicated and bilateral lending structures.
Mr. Stoner has led more than 100 restructuring cases across multiple sectors, including construction, consumer, energy, financial services, leisure, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, professional services, project finance, real estate, retail, and travel.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Stoner spent 27 years at PwC in its Financial Restructuring practice, with 15 years as a Partner. His responsibilities included advising lenders on the firm’s larger and higher profile cases and leading its more complex pension restructuring cases.
Mr. Stoner earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Durham University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
