Frederic Elkeslassy
With over 25 years of experience in accounting, valuation, economic analysis, damage quantification, investigation, and compliance advisory work, Mr. Elkeslassy combines strong technical expertise with extensive cross-border experience. His areas of concentration are financial crime, forensic investigations, and damage assessment in international arbitration, litigation, and post M&A price disputes, where he is often appointed as binding expert.
Mr. Elkeslassy’s experience spans the defense, consumer goods, energy, infrastructure, mining, private equity, real estate, retail, aerospace, and transportation sectors. As a French sustainability information assurance certifier, he assesses ESG-related damages and monitors ESG compliance.
Mr. Elkeslassy’s track record includes leading sensitive investigations for states and corporations involving bribery, corruption, accounting fraud, embezzlement, and testifying before criminal courts.
Mr. Elkeslassy has quantified damages and provided expert testimony under cross-examination on claims of up to $2.6 billion in investment treaty and commercial arbitrations, and acted as binding expert on SPA price disputes up to $1 billion.
Mr. Elkeslassy has also quantified losses in numerous commercial proceedings, involving dismissal of managers, abrupt termination of contracts or SPA price reduction claims, and contributed to settlements through mediation on completion accounts.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Elkeslassy spent 25 years at EY, signing audit opinions for listed companies (CAC 40 and SBF 120) and overseeing transactions, completion accounts, complex carve-outs, valuations, and strategic advisory work. He also served as Disputes Practice Leader for Western Europe, supervising teams across 25 countries and leading numerous cross-border engagements.
Mr. Elkeslassy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sorbonne University and a master’s degree in accounting, finance, and economics from PSL University. He is a qualified chartered accountant (French CPA), a registered statutory auditor, authorized to certify sustainability information, and a judicial expert at the Versailles Court of Appeal.
