Eric Solash

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Solash worked as a Managing Director at Brookline Capital Markets, an investment banking firm focused on the life sciences and healthcare sectors. His primary areas of focus were M&A mandates and capital-raising initiatives, including public equity (initial public offerings and special purpose acquisition companies), Regulation D private placements, debt financing, and sidecar investments.
In addition, Mr. Solash served as Head of Capital Markets for Marsh & McLennan’s specialty lines property and casualty (P&C) Managing General Agency (MGA), Victor Insurance Holdings—then the world’s largest MGA, generating $2+ billion in annual premiums. He led portfolio construction initiatives involving CAT and non-CAT P&C lines and insurance-linked securities (ILS). Further, he developed the business plan to launch Sag Harbor, an ILS manager focused on non-correlated catastrophe and casualty assets, backed by a leading global credit hedge fund with ~$14+ billion in assets under management.
Previously, Mr. Solash worked as Head of Alternative Capital at General Electric (GE), where he managed the alternative funding business, providing $15 billion in annual private equity and debt capital to GE’s global infrastructure, power, renewable energy, and healthcare development projects. Mr. Solash also served as Head of Insurance Investment Banking at Freeman & Co, establishing the practice within the 20-year-old boutique firm, and worked on the $400 million demutualization of Security Benefit Life for Guggenheim Partners. Over a six-year period, he generated the highest fees in the firm’s history by starting a de novo insurance banking team.
Mr. Solash earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and 79 securities licenses.
