Mr. Le Bertre brings more than 15 years of experience advising private equity firms and corporates on technology-enabled M&A and value creation across Asia–Pacific and Europe. His primary areas of focus include technology due diligence, separation, post-merger integration, and IT cost optimization.

Mr. Le Bertre supports clients throughout the deal lifecycle to assess, quantify, and deliver technology and operational value creation. He combines deep transaction execution experience with a pragmatic approach to technology strategy, enabling investors and management teams to make informed, value-driven decisions. He has led more than 100 transactions across diverse sectors, including energy and utilities, financial services, healthcare, software, infrastructure, consumer, and industrial products. His experience covers complex carve-outs, standalone design, integration planning, and technology transformation for both private equity and corporate clients.

Mr. Le Bertre’s previous notable assignments include several large-scale and high-profile transactions involving multi-country operations, listed-company carve-outs, and public-to-private takeovers. He has often worked alongside executive leadership teams and investors to navigate complex separation and integration challenges under demanding timelines. His work regularly bridges the gap between financial, operational, and technology perspectives, helping clients translate deal rationale into tangible post-deal outcomes.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Le Bertre was a Partner with PwC Australia’s deals team. Before that, he worked with PwC member firm Strategy& in Europe, advising clients on technology and operational aspects of corporate and private equity transactions. Mr. Le Bertre began his career at EY, providing technology and Chief Information Officer advisory services, including IT M&A and IT risk assurance.

Mr. Le Bertre earned a master’s degree in computer engineering. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mr. Le Bertre is fluent in English and French.
