Emmanuel Cresseveur

In banking and specialty finance, Mr. Cresseveur’s notable assignments include advising Caisse des Dépôts on the acquisition of La Poste/La Banque Postale and CNP Assurances (€12.8 billion), Bank of Ireland on the acquisition of KBC Ireland’s mortgage book (€9 billion) and deposits, and Société Générale on the €1.2 billion IPO of ALD as a Global Coordinator. His other relevant banking transactions include advising the Slovenian State on the sale of Nova KBM to Apollo, Galeries Lafayette on the sale of its consumer credit subsidiary LaSer to BNP Paribas, Alliance Bank on its $1.2 billion debt restructuring and merger with ForteBank and Temirbank, and Piraeus Bank on the acquisition of Geniki Bank from Société Générale.
In insurance and wealth/asset management, Mr. Cresseveur’s notable assignments include the sale of CCR Re to SMABTP and MACSF (€1 billion purchase price and €0.2 billion recap), Macif/Aéma on the acquisition of Aviva France for €3.2bn, Tikehau Capital Advisors on its €1.1 billion contribution to Tikehau in exchange of new shares, Charterhouse on the acquisition of Siaci Saint-Honoré for c. €1 billion, Caisse des Dépôts on the renewal of CNP’s distribution agreements with BPCE and La Banque Postale, and Caisse des Dépôts on its €0.3 billion investment in Groupama's subsidiary Gan Eurocourtage.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cresseveur was a Senior Director with Credit Suisse Financial Institutions Group. Previously he worked for Lazard and with Societe Generale’s General Inspection.
Mr. Cresseveur earned a master’s degree from ENSAE in corporate finance, a master’s degree in engineering, science and technology from Ecole Polytechnique and a postgraduate diploma in mathematics for finance from Université Paris Cité.
