Eduardo Gallardo is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in São Paulo, Brazil. He specializes in financial restructuring. His primary areas of concentration are debt renegotiation and Chapter 11 process management.

Mr. Gallardo brings more than 10 years of corporate finance, financial planning, performance and competitiveness improvement, negotiation and project management experience. His notable assignments include conducting the financial restructuring for one of the top 10 Brazilian groups with more than 10 billion BRL debt with major financial institutions; and Viracopos Airport restructuring, achieving the approval in a Chapter 11 process after a complex negotiation with banks and the granting authority. Besides infrastructure, Mr. Gallardo has worked with clients across various industries, including engineering and construction, oil and gas, agribusiness, retail, energy distribution and renewable power.

Most recently, Mr. Gallardo was responsible for the financial restructuring of Invepar, a holding group with more than 12 public transport concessions, located in Rio de Janeiro.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gallardo spent six years with Siemens in São Paulo as a CFO in the industry sector. He was responsible for sales planning, performance management, contracts negotiation and budget setting, managing an annual turnover of over 100 million BRL. He also spent 18 months in Nuremberg, Germany acting as Regional Manager for 10 European countries controlling financial performance, business strategy, budget setting, pricing, costs and headcount.

Mr. Gallardo earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
