David Lloyd
Mr. Lloyd has more than 15 years of experience providing financial due diligence and other transaction advisory services to private equity and corporate clients across a wide range of industries. His transaction experience ranges from lower- and middle-market acquisition targets to complex, multibillion-dollar, cross-border projects.
Mr. Lloyd’s expertise includes preparation of analyses that identify key deal issues/risk areas, quantification of items that directly impact transaction valuation (e.g., understanding normalized EBITDA, quality of earnings, working capital requirements, debt, and debt-like items), and analysis of KPIs. Furthermore, he has extensive experience of advising on sale and purchase agreements and purchase price mechanisms.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lloyd was a Senior Manager with PwC’s Transaction Services unit in London, where he advised premier clients, including several private equity mega-funds. There, he spent two years on international assignment in New York, providing buy-side and vendor assistance due diligence services to both private equity and corporate clients.
Mr. Lloyd earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Leeds in the UK. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) in the UK and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
