Mr. Fix has significant experience managing complex healthcare organizations and communicating about detailed financial and strategic situations with client boards and is a leader in A&M HIG’s Healthcare Services Practice, focusing on healthcare finance, leading organizations as an interim CFO, and operational due diligence and integration.

Mr. Fix has held various interim management positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He has led employees in all finance functions and led a team of 250 finance and revenue cycle employees through periods of major financial distress and bankruptcy at a large health system.

Mr. Fix specializes in private equity backed healthcare services businesses with distributed operations. He has held interim CFO roles in the anesthesia provider, air medical transport and health system sub-segments and has been COO of a physician therapy provider with over 200 locations and CEO of a large behavioral health company. Mr. Fix routinely implements operational initiatives to improve performance and KPI monitoring systems and has led turnaround efforts for several healthcare entities focused on developing operational performance improvement initiatives. He focuses on initiative development, quantification and reporting results.

Mr. Fix also specializes in private equity backed healthcare services business across the investment lifecycle. He is routinely asked to help sponsors with industry points of view and assumptions around their investment thesis. Mr. Fix has led operational due diligence and synergy assessments across many healthcare sub-sectors and often steps into complex or distressed situations to synthesize a value creation plan. He is routinely engaged to implement those plans.

Mr. Fix earned a BBA in health planning from Alfred University and an MPA (healthcare finance management concentration) from New York University Wagner School of Public Service.
