He brings more than 15 years of experience as Chief Restructuring Officer and Board Advisor. His primary area of concentration is leading complex and distressed situations for clients in industrial services and financial institutions. Mr. Andersson has worked with clients across a range of industries, including automotive, industrial manufacturing and fabrication, shipping, oil and gas downstream, retail, construction and real estate.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Andersson spent four years with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Service, serving most recently as Associated Partner and Head of Restructuring and Turnarounds in Finland and CRO Services in the Nordics. There he executed multiple turnarounds and refinancing rounds, drawing on his experience as CRO and corporate officer for large scale entities. He served as CRO for an industrial conglomerate building leisure craft yachts and assisted the equity sponsor with a multifaceted refinancing with a large forum of senior lenders. Mr. Andersson also handled the successful restructuring and refinancing of a listed construction company for a Nordic lender syndicate.

Prior to Ernst & Young, Mr. Andersson was a Partner in a restructuring boutique serving clients across Northern Europe. He also has senior management experience from multinational corporate entities.

Mr. Andersson earned a master’s degree in business from London University and an MBA from London Business School. A Finnish national, Mr. Andersson is fluent in Finnish, Swedish, English and German.
