Chris Kelly

Mr. Kelly specializes in the development, evaluation and execution of restructuring plans; cash flow forecasting and liquidity management; and operational performance improvement. He has assisted clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, government contracting, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, business services, and retail and apparel.
Most recently, Mr. Kelly assisted a global transportation and logistics provider to restructure approximately $500 million in debt. His responsibilities included conducting a business plan review to serve as the foundation for the restructuring, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and assisting with cash flow forecasting and lender negotiations.
Mr. Kelly has extensive experience assisting clients in the financial services sector. At A&M, he served as Global Treasurer of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., where he preserved the treasury function in the chaotic early days of bankruptcy by retaining and hiring key personnel, implementing cash controls, negotiating with banks to release frozen collateral and implementing new reporting processes. He also assisted FINCA Microfinance Holdings Inc. (a global microfinance institution) and Arcapita Investments (a global private equity fund) with restructuring plans. In addition, Mr. Kelly has assisted several government contracting clients with debt restructuring and performance improvement initiatives. His representative work includes developing cash flow forecasts, identifying working capital improvements and building cost reduction plans.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kelly held several leadership roles with Dun & Bradstreet, including Director of Business Development, where he developed and implemented restructuring plans for internal business units. Previously, he was the Director of Strategy and Operations for Exclusively Misook (an apparel manufacturer) and served as a Consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates, where he worked with retail and apparel clients on performance improvement initiatives.
Mr. Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (concentrations in finance and management information systems) from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia University.
