Chris Hansen
Mr. Hansen’s work focuses on enabling clients to proactively address technology and digital disruption across the following key areas: growth acceleration, revenue optimization, actionable AI adoption, target operating model development, and enterprise-wide service design.
Mr. Hansen has over 20 years of experience assisting clients with digital transformation, developing business models, managing vendor risk, and creating digital strategies and roadmaps. He has worked with organizations in banking and capital markets, insurance, financial market utilities, and multilateral development banks.
Mr. Hansen’s notable assignments for clients in the Asia–Pacific region include the strategy, design, development, and launch of: Hong Kong’s premier B2C digital payments platform; several virtual banks, including neo-financial institutions based in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and mainland China; and a banking-as-a-service (BaaS) product for an embedded trade finance proposition on behalf of Hong Kong’s largest bank.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hansen served in senior roles in the Asia–Pacific region, including with AnChain.ai (an AI-powered crypto-forensics startup) and Coherent (an automation and intelligence financial technology company), and as Director with EY Technology Consulting. Earlier in his career, he worked in the US, with roles at Morgan Stanley and General Electric, and as a consultant with EY in New York, where he worked with clients including J.P. Morgan, Fannie Mae, American Express, and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
Mr. Hansen earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). He also has certifications in ISO 20000 consulting and Six Sigma.
