Mr. Barrett specializes in buy- and sell-side financial accounting due diligence projects for both private equity firms and strategic buyers. He advises clients on quality of earnings, cash flows, leverage recapitalizations, and GAAP accounting. He also identifies KPIs and trends to determine the sustainability of earnings and the growth potential of acquisition companies.

Mr. Barrett primarily focuses on serving clients in the healthcare services industry, including physical therapy, home health, hospice, long-term care, behavioral health, and various physician practices (e.g., orthopedics, oncology, dermatology, dental).

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Barrett was the Vice President of Transactions Services at PhyNet Dermatology in Nashville. Before that, he was a manager with KPMG’s Transaction Services Group.

Mr. Barrett earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Queen’s University, Ontario. He is a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
