Catherine Radley is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal European Restructuring in London. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a consultant working with blue-chip businesses.

Ms. Radley specialises in cash flow forecasting and cash management, implementing operational efficiency programmes, human resources, and separation and integration planning. She has worked with clients in various industries, including retail, aviation, media, telecommunications, oil and gas services, manufacturing and healthcare.

Recently at A&M, Ms.Radley has advised NMC, a healthcare group in the UAE, leading liquidity forecasting, management and reporting workstream aspect for the restructuring process. Prior to this, she advised an international airline on liquidity forecasting. Ms. Radley also advised a major U.K. Plc as part of their operational restructuring where she managed a headcount reduction process including reporting and benefit analysis.

Ms. Radley’s other notable liquidity management and forecasting work includes Toys R Us in the U.K.; Pelican Rouge (previously Autobar), a European coffee vending company, where she implemented improved European cash flow forecasting and weekly bank reporting; her work with the treasury department of a Polish cable manufacturer to manage cross border liquidity requirements; and the forecast preparation that enabled CEDC, a Polish vodka manufacturer, to restructure its debt through a Chapter 11.

Previously, Ms. Radley advised a pan-European healthcare provider on organisational design and overhead cost reduction and worked with a supplier to the oil and gas industry to implement and introduce monitoring tools for a £20 million EBITDA reduction programme. She reviewed operations in the Netherlands, the U.K. and other locations, identifying synergy savings, including headcount, to integrate the finance department of a company that, after the merger of two companies, was the world’s largest independent media production company.

Ms. Radley earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and Japanese (joint honours), from the University of Stirling and a bachelor’s degree in history from the Open University. She earned a master’s degree in e-commerce (economics and technology concentrations), from the University of London and a master’s degree in Second World War studies from the University of Wolverhampton. Ms. Radley has participated in the Rotary Club International Exchange Programme and spent a year in Japan.
