Benjamin Collet is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Portfolio Advisory services in London. He brings more than 20 years of financial services experience with a strong focus on banking restructuring and loan portfolio transactions.
Mr. Collet has acted as lead advisor to financial institutions and international investor groups on multiple loan portfolio transactions throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia and across the debt class spectrum, from corporate/commercial loans through to consumer secured and both performing and non-performing unsecured debt.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Collet was South Europe and Latin America Lead for the Loan Portfolio Group at a Big Four advisory firm. He also worked with the European principal debt investment group of a private equity owned bank where he was responsible for principal investment in South Europe.
Mr. Collet earned a bachelor’s degree in business from ESCP Europe in Paris and an MBA degree from INSEAD.
