Andrew Schembri
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Schembri cofounded Green Ambition, an investment manager for funds comprised of renewable energy assets from two global developers. He negotiated and structured the initial investment vehicles, directed due diligence of the assets, and coordinated fund structuring and administration.
Previously, he served as a Director at HitecVision, an $8 billion assets under management private equity firm focused on energy and infrastructure investments globally. There, he led investment teams that originated and executed new investment opportunities and helped manage a portfolio of 10 companies totaling over $1 billion of invested equity. Mr. Schembri closed nine transactions representing $350+ million in invested equity during his tenure. Prior to HitecVision, Mr. Schembri was with DNB Markets in its M&A group, where he covered the energy, infrastructure, and transportation sectors. He advised clients on financial and strategic decisions, including for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, and restructuring. He closed 15 transactions with an aggregate exceeding $9 billion.
Mr. Schembri earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
