Alexander Glinsky

Mr. Glinsky has extensive experience across the UK, Ireland, and EMEA advising banks, fintech companies, specialty finance companies, and government institutions on a range of private and public market mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has also worked on a range of equity and debt capital raisings, including initial public offerings (IPOs).
Mr. Glinsky’s notable assignments include advising on the sale of Tesco Bank to Barclays, the sale of Tesco Bank’s mortgage business to Lloyds, the sale of NWG’s and Santander’s stake in SABB, the IPO of AIB and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, the potential acquisition of MBNA and Kensington Mortgages, and several Northern Rock Asset Management transactions. Mr. Glinsky has also supported clients with the sale of secondary stakes in several digital UK banks and contributed to a number of debt and capital instruments for NewDay, CYBG, Together Money, and UK high street lenders.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Glinsky spent nearly 14 years at Citi, where he focused on financial services clients based in the UK and Ireland. Previously, he also worked at KPMG Transaction Services for six years.
Mr. Glinsky is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
