Alex Lee
Mr. Lee specializes in product and technology value creation, software architecture and cloud modernization, and pre- and post-acquisition technology diligence for private capital investors and their portfolio companies. His primary areas of concentration include product strategy, software architecture review, AI/machine learning platform assessment, software development life cycle and DevOps optimization, and technology-enabled synergy and transformation planning.
With nearly 20 years of experience across technology, media, SaaS, and private equity, Mr. Lee has led numerous product and technology diligence engagements and post-acquisition transformation programs, helping clients modernize legacy platforms, accelerate R&D performance, and scale cloud-native and AI-enabled systems. His prior industry leadership includes overseeing large-scale platform integrations, building enterprise data and content supply chain pipelines, deploying applied machine learning models for quality automation, and developing predictive analytics frameworks used to support media content investment decisions. He has supported buy-side and sell-side diligence efforts across vertical SaaS, digital health, media supply chain, and information services.
Mr. Lee has led full-stack technology transformations for private equity–backed software platforms, modernized multi-tenant architectures, redesigned R&D operating models, and implemented cloud, data, and AI capabilities to support scale. He has been responsible for product technology diligence and integration assessments across software architecture, data platforms, cybersecurity, scalability, and cloud readiness. His experience spans industries including technology, media, private equity, healthcare, and tech-enabled services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lee spent several years at Amazon in Los Angeles. Earlier in his career, he worked at KPMG, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Northrop Grumman.
Mr. Lee earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and a master’s degree in systems engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. His professional designations include Project Management Professional (PMP), Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and executive education credentials in analytics and AI strategy from Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.
