Benjamin Pflaum
Mr. Pflaum brings a rare dual perspective to A&M: senior consulting leadership combined with 13 years as a CEO and Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in global manufacturing. He helps leaders move quickly from strategy to execution, delivering revenue and margin impact through data-driven commercial and operating models.
Mr. Pflaum’s sector expertise spans asset-heavy, regulated industries, including industrial products, automotive (original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers), energy, utilities, and digital service platforms. Having run P&Ls himself, he understands how technology-driven restructuring differs across manufacturing, utilities, and service-based businesses.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Pflaum was a Partner at EY, scaling its digital consulting practice across the DACH region. He also founded his own consultancy for the German midmarket and held CEO and CDO roles with a global market-leading manufacturer.
Mr. Pflaum earned a BBA from American InterContinental University and an MBA from East Texas A&M University. He also completed executive education at the St. Gallen Management Program, Stanford University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is fluent in German and English, with experience across the US, Asia, and the Middle East.
