Onur Okutur
Mr. Okutur brings more than 20 years of experience in performance improvement, operational transformation, and value creation. He has worked with corporates, private equity investors, and sovereign wealth funds across a range of industries, including energy, infrastructure, industrials, chemicals, automotive, telecommunications, financial services, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare.
Mr. Okutur has led numerous engagements involving growth strategy, market entry, commercial acceleration, operational efficiency improvement, supply chain transformation, and organizational effectiveness across Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. He brings significant experience advising private equity firms and portfolio companies on investment evaluation, value creation, operational due diligence, and post-deal transformation initiatives.
Mr. Okutur’s notable assignments include developing a carbon capture and utilization strategy for Turkey’s largest refinery group and leading investment and operational improvement assessments for infrastructure assets including ports, industrial zones, and logistics hubs. He has also supported strategic and operational transformation programs for large energy, utilities, and industrial groups.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Okutur worked with Kearney, where he most recently served as Turkey and Central Asia Leader. In this role, he led the growth of the firm’s business across Turkey and the Caspian region, building strategic advisory relationships with leading corporates, investors, and public institutions. Before that, he held consulting and industry leadership roles spanning Turkey and the US.
Mr. Okutur earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York. He is fluent in English and Turkish.
