Lachlan McDonald
With more than 16 years of experience as an entrepreneur and a consultant, Mr. McDonald has led over 15 global transformations of Tier 1 mining and manufacturing companies that have delivered over $5 billion in value.
Mr. McDonald’s notable assignments include partnering with a global gold miner to unlock world-class productivity by enabling faster decisions at the front line and the creation of a new operating philosophy at a Tier 1 global, diversified mining company to enable the asset and site leadership to make faster decisions and adapt for the future of work.
Mr. McDonald also has extensive experience in capital project management and optimization, where he has led construction projects to achieve record productivity and built high-performing teams to operate in a safe production environment.
In addition, Mr. McDonald has been building and deploying AI systems to accelerate decision-making for a leading private equity firm’s portfolio companies at the operational level.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. McDonald was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group in Australia and an Executive Director at a Tier 1 global private equity firm.
Mr. McDonald earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and law from the University of New England.
