Alex Sanchez
Specifically, Mr. Sanchez has experience providing federal income tax advice and performing tax due diligence with respect to domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, including joint ventures, spin-offs, liquidations, and shareholder redemptions. He has advised on structuring both taxable transactions and tax-deferred reorganizations, including corporate divisions governed by Section 355, as well as the overall tax aspects of bankruptcies and workouts.
With nearly 10 years of experience, Mr. Sanchez has advised clients in industries including infrastructure, renewable energy, technology, transportation, retail, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food service, healthcare, and professional services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sanchez was a Manager in EY’s Transaction Tax Advisory practice. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate at a top multinational law firm, where he advised wealthy domestic and international families, individuals, trustees, and fiduciaries on all aspects of estate tax planning.
Mr. Sanchez earned a JD from The George Washington University Law School and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law. He is a member of the Florida Bar Tax Section.
