Marine Lacouture
Ms. Lacouture has worked with clients across sectors, including manufacturing, health, pharmaceuticals, retail and consumer leisure, business services, technology, media, and telecommunications, and transportation and logistics.
At A&M, Ms. Lacouture led the separation strategy study of a €4 billion global pharmaceuticals business, including the identification of value creation levers for optimization post-carve-out. She also led a carve-out assessment of a fund administrator. Prior to these engagements, she led the carve-out of Citeline (formerly Pharma Intelligence) from Informa (including the transition services agreement exit) and integration activities into Norstella, a market-leading pharmaceutical solutions provider. She also supported the carve-out of Fastmarkets from Delinian (formerly Euromoney), taking responsibility for sales and marketing, G&A carve-out considerations, and planning and optimization through synergy assessment and the value creation plan (from due diligence to public-to-private to closing).
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Lacouture served as Senior Advisor with Maersk, setting up the in-house M&A integration capabilities. She worked with Integration Leads and teams to support the integration of seven acquisitions (from target screening to business as usual). She also developed and implemented a repeatable M&A integration methodology (i.e., playbook and associated tools and templates).
Before Maersk, Ms. Lacouture spent more than six years in M&A operations advisory at PwC in London (Delivering Deal Value) and EY in Paris (Transaction Strategy & Execution, formerly Operational Transaction Services), focusing on M&A integration programs.
Ms. Lacouture earned a master’s degree in management and corporate finance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a master’s degree in audit and consulting from ESCP Business School. She is fluent in English and French.
