Régis Pereira
With nearly 20 years of investigations experience, Mr. Pereira has deep knowledge of the Brazilian market. He is recognized for navigating regulatory scenarios, enforcement authority demands, and leading law firms’ expectations in Brazil and abroad. He has led programs and investigations of major national relevance, working closely with boards and legal, compliance, audit, and executive teams in key decision-making.
Most notably, Mr. Pereira has built a new practice across the Latin American region for technology-leveraged investigations and supported matters across the US, Canada, UK, and EMEA. He has worked with clients across industries, including financial services, oil and gas, telecom, pharmaceuticals, and construction.
Mr. Pereira’s notable assignments include leading a data analytics team in a post‑acquisition investigation. The work involved mapping and analyzing structured data from internal and third‑party sources, uncovering tampered records and significant operational gaps. The findings informed executive decisions and supported a potential post‑transaction dispute. Mr. Pereira also led an incident response after a cyberfraud incident. His guidance enabled the team to identify internal and external actors through forensic analysis and dark web investigation, while also supporting shared accountability by uncovering a SaaS vendor failure. Following this success, he supported additional strategic initiatives, including a zero-based budgeting project, cloud and endpoint detection and response (EDR) standardization efforts, and broader IT and cyber governance improvements.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Pereira spent three and a half years with Cyber and Data Resilience: Discovery Solutions at Kroll in São Paulo, most recently as Latin American Regional Manager. He oversaw high‑complexity digital forensics, eDiscovery, and incident response matters, including cross‑border investigations and support for multinational corporations navigating regulatory and litigation challenges.
Mr. Pereira earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Paulista University. He is listed by Lexology Index as a Future Leader in Digital Forensics.
